I am Priyadharshini L, first year student pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at VIT Chennai. This portfolio is to record the experiences I have had here and my academic improvement. 

Portfolio portrays one's development over a course of time. It is a roadmap of one's educational and professional journey. It helps in gaining clarity on future prospects and pathways and it keeps track of success and failure too. 

Being a day scholar I'm able to enjoy both worlds: the vibrant campus life at VIT and the comfort of home. One of the most important skills I am still learning as a day scholar is Time Management.

I have started learning beyond my syllabus for gaining extra skills and knowledge. I'm working on hardware (electrical, electronics, mechanical) and software skills because apart from software I think hardware skills are also important to face the real world outside.

I am doing many beginner projects both in software and hardware. In software I'm doing projects on python to strengthen my technical foundation. In Hardware, I'm doing projects with the help of Tinkercad using Arduino and many online websites. These Hardware projects might also help me for clubs like robotics. 

I have completed online courses and I have started new courses now. Apart from college studies I'm doing to gain additional knowledge.

I have attended many events. I participated in Freshathon'25 a Talentime for Freshers, attended a hackathon, and I even applied for club recruitment. I got selected in one of the largest club - 'The Dance Club of VITC'.

I am maintaining a personal blog website where I have written reflective blogs based on my academic experiences and our class IV. 

My future plans includes - expand my knowledge beyond studies, work on large projects, acquire more practical skills, pursue internships that provides real-world exposure, being a part of dance club I want to participate in many external and internal events, participate in hackathons and improve my academic performance. 

I believe being consistent in our work helps us more in our failure and in our success. 'No matter what happens be consistent and work towards your goal.'  Be consistent and start early. Every small progress matters. Creating a portfolio helps you see your own growth and share it to the world. Now is the time, Start yours now!
